THIRD PARTY COLLABORATION

PARIS PEACE FORUM

Sequel to our quest for a third-party collaboration towards enhancing the performance of the Foundation, the EGCDF Leadership participated in the Paris Peace Forum 2018, where several contacts were made for a possible partnership. However, the emergencies of the COVID-19 pandemic minimized our chances to follow-up and achieve fruitful results from that giant Stride.

EGCDF COLLABORATION WITH UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON KEY ECONOMIC PROJECTS

Further to our advocacy for a third party collaboration, the Foundation has secured a partnership with the United Nations Development programme (UNDP) to develop Benikrukru Fish/Poultry Farm and Ogbudugbudu/Ogbinbiri Cassava/Plantain Plantation. The sites have already been visited by the UNDP team, while modalities have been mapped out to commence the project soon.

EGCDF COTTAGE HOSPITALS AT TSEKELEWU AND OPOROZA COMMUNITIES

As the saying goes, “Health is wealth.” The Administration placed a high premium on quality healthcare services for our riverine/rural dwellers. When we came on board, we made conscious efforts to give the Polobubo and Oporoza Cottage Hospitals, which were commissioned in 2018, a facelift. We have also collaborated with the Delta State Government to manage the facilities through the Delta State Health Insurance Scheme.

EGCDF COLLABORATION WITH PIND ON AGRIPRENEUR PROGRAMME

The Foundation has secured a partnership with PIND to setup a Fish Farm Hub in choice locations in Egbema and Gbaramatu Kingdoms. Collaborative arrangements with PIND are in top gear to commence the project.

EGCDF COLLABORATION WITH AFRICA CATARAT EYE FOUNDATION

The partnership between the Foundation and Africa Eye Cataract Foundation has brought immense relief and hope to many of our community folks that could not have had easy access to an eye specialist as well as treatment for different ailments. The last round of the exercise was between October to December 2016 at Tsekelewu and Ogbudugbudu in Egbema kingdom while Kokodiagbene/Okoitoru in Gbaramatu kingdom and at the EGCDF Secretariat, Warri, in February 2017.
